The challenge
Skilled staff were spending hours a day shuttling data between systems that don't talk to each other, reconciling reports, and re-keying the same records — work that's error-prone when done by tired humans and impossible to scale by hiring.
What we built
A library of orchestrated software robots that perform rules-based processes end-to-end, unattended and on schedule.
- Bots that drive both APIs and legacy UIs, with OCR for documents that only exist as scans
- A central orchestrator handling scheduling, queuing, retries, and exception routing to a human when judgment is needed
- Full audit logging of every action for traceability and compliance
- Built so processes can be added or changed without rebuilding the whole system
How it works
Each automation is a discrete, testable workflow registered with an orchestrator that runs it on a trigger or schedule. Robust error handling distinguishes "retry" from "escalate," so a bad record becomes a routed exception rather than a silent failure. Every run is logged for audit.
Results
- Hours of repetitive work reclaimed every day and redirected to higher-value tasks
- Re-keying errors largely eliminated on automated paths
- Throughput that scales with schedules, not headcount
